Today I learnt something new, from a mention on FB by a friend, the Japanese (bamboo) Flute.

I’ve always been interested in other instruments and sounds (being a ex musician) and found a good link with sound clips on wiki.. follow the link below.

AH so all I wanted to do, was to be up early atop of Mt Eden lookout for some nice sunrise shots… and hey, I got a few lame ones….

When I turned around, these people started showing up…. *confused look on face*

Hi there, well Saturday I stopped in at the Asian Song Festival, to my dissapointment I missed the song thing it was the day before.. but what the hey, here’s some random snaps from the little festival after.

Not too much happening, but the people were happy and I had some yummy food , as usual 🙂

Ah, well this morning I attended what I believe to be the first Islamic Art & Cultural show, here in Auckland. It was small and personal, held in one of the event centres here in Auckland, and it was nice.

They had cultural stuff on display, food stalls, all the usual stuff, and I can see this growing into a diverse and interesting show in the future.
