A beautiful conversation

As I sit at my favourite cafe on a lazy Sunday morning, I enjoy a humble breakfast (my diet cheat day) and the quiet surroundings and soft jazz music that lightly caresses my lobes in the background.

Forward of my table sits a mother and daughter.. Both lost deeply in conversation about this or that.. No doubt sharing their viewpoints on the days events or the week gone by.

Gracefully embracing the moment and withholding any obvious outburst of emotion.

That’s them there ( see image above ) forward and to either extreme of my delightfully empty breakfast plate ….

Obviously engulfed in deep conversations..

With someone else lol.

I’ve been sat here for about 45 minutes, they were here when I arrived and I suspect i might leave with them still fully intact in their original upright oblivious-to-eachother positions.

To my direct right sit a couple (an ex couple I discover via their somewhat short tort and demeaning obsverations of each other’s downfalls and features) discussing how they should dispose of mutual belongings and their dog….

I occasionally glance over at them hoping they wi’ll notice me looking at them with my “will you two kindly quieten down or GTFO” glare in my eyes … but no.. so that conversation in futility continues through who the dog likes better and whom has the shittier cloths…

To my left, I delight in a small group of happy sounding people yabbering away with laughter in whatever language they speak.. sounds pretty though.. wish I could understand it .. wonder what their lives are like.. what adventures they have been on or things they’ve seen or food they’ve eaten .. Yea.. it always comes back to food lol.

Wait! Omg! Mother and daughter have just left! What voodoo magic is this .. I didn’t even notice.. maybe they have stealth mode enabled …

Doesn’t matter though because a seriously attractive lady just too their table .. possibly a backpacker by the looks and defiantly foreign.. wonder where she’s from… if she’s waiting for anyone.. I glance up a few times only to see her, like the previous tenants of that table, also deeply lost in conversation with a digital someone … or something .. ah well…

I glance up again to see that she’s ordered a chocolate shake and a very yummy looking cookie… lucky cookie… Lol…. bugger me… lucky straw ….. yeeks …. I must look elsewhere …..

A jogger just went past… nice legs….

This must mean it’s time for me to give up my seat to the next visitor of this fine establishment .

Have a lovely Sunday my bearded beauties and aked faced hotties alike.

BBC News: YouTube channels need 10,000 views for adverts

YouTube channels need 10,000 views for adverts – http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-39527043

For a while now i have been pondering upon what to do with my YouTube channel … As much as i do enjoy making videos, they are time consuming to do..and increasingly more annoying trying to adhere to YouTube ever changing requirements and rules for content.

There have been many a YT personality express there irritation at what’s going on with YT and how YT appears to be consistently making it harder and harder to remain with them at any worthwhile level when it comes to revenue, which a lot of the bigger YT names rely on as their income while making YT content full time.

For me as a  simple casual content creator who doesn’t even have 100 subscribers ( lol ) income isn’t an issue as I have full time employment already and this forthr most part a fun hobby and a means to create a living memory for myself and whomever may be interested.

I keep my content trimmed of any of my photo shoots and other events as YT would likely close my little channel down for some petty rule about showing to much skin lol.  … not me… my models… lol believe me no one wants to see my skin.. it just ain’t pretty hahaha 🙂

But anyway…. I’ve been holding back on making more content and looking around at what might be available … thus far only Vimeo looks viable ..

Still through .. how far should I take it..After all its just a hobby ..

Should I include behind the scenes photo shoot stuff ? Should I do more road trips and adventure ? … maybe I should drop that media format all together and just just platforms like Instagram, tumblr and twitter. .. none of which gain me any decent exposure anyway.. I.guess maybe other than Instagram .. who knows lol.

It’s all food for thought. . And I’ve thought about it  and now I’m eating the food lol

Happy weekend everyone 🙂

Things to note…

Please, as usual, excuse the terrible editing 😛

I drove around the North Island in March of 2016, starting in Auckland,

and heading EAST –  then following the East Coast of the North Island,

down into Wellington, and then UP the West coast back to Auckland, with

places in between and stops and adventures of which you can see samplings of

some here in these awesome videos 😛

I’ve skipped bits that you’ve all seen over and over again,

like me leaving Auckland, me heading back into Auckland, Me and other stuff.

These videos are just snippets of my trips, and I recommend to you all, to get off your butts

and go outside and live life a little 🙂 ….. 🙂

Or, stay at home and watch my videos and please, LIKE and Subscribe…. I love you long time 🙂

So here’s the thing…. below you will find links to the videos on youtube, in order.

I also post to VIMEO, because youtube is turning to shyte.. and I need a backup.

So if you’re a VIMEO member, please go watch them there also, if you like and feel free to donate a little

to help me make more videos 🙂

New Zealand Immigration

image

update below:

Having an interesting day today..

Arrived at our internarional airport this morning to pickup a traveling international model, but it seems that good old New Zealand Airport Immigration are making things difficult.

So as I’m a nice guy and like to help…

I’ve talked to two different immigration agents on the phone.. (both times they called me by getting my number from the person in question, no probllem with that) … it seems that neither share a brain cell between them.. though in saying that, the second one (sounded like an English accent) was somewhat more polite than the first one who was just plain rude.

The first one rang and left a message ( I was driving so didn’t answer my mobile… arn’t I good) and then she took about 2 hours to ring back…. When she did.. she said she’d call back in two minutes (I just pulled into the car park and was parking)…. she never did… (and she was just as rude again) …

The second lady rang about 30 minutes after i parked…so much for 2 minutes….. we had a general conversation… like who am I.. how do I know the person in question. . Do I know what they will be doing while in NZ, etc etc .. all the usual questions.. then she cut me off and hung up the call… so with no way to contact them back… I dunno what else to do.  The Immigration office here at the airport is closed… no number to ring and no agents to ask……

I really do feel sorry for people coming to NZ … I understand immigration have a important job to do… but they don’t have to be fuck witted assholes about it… or maybe it’s part of the job requirement.. “oh you want to work as an immigration officer…sure… can you be a fuck witted asshole.. just like John Key?…you can.. excellent. . Welcome to your new job..” …  .. (.. ypu may ask.. who is John Key.. He is the current New Zealand Prime Minister .. who does very dodgy things…very very.. Google him)…

That attitude does more damage to the reputation of NZ than 1000 good reviews could do to support it especially when it happens to people working in media .. bad press and word of mouth travels fast in a small community …. there’s just no escaping it.

Now to be fair… I do only have (at this stage) 1/3 of the story…. and all I can do now is go do my usual stuff and wait to see if the person in question is allowed to enter New Zealand or not….    If so I’ll be sure to update this blog with more information. … If not.l, then I can only wait for an email from them when they return home (I assume).

Either way.. it’s lunchtime and I’m hungry and I’ve been here since 7 am.

More as I learn more.

:p

UPDATE:

So after a 4 hours, I get a text from the person in question, who is now been declined a visa to visit NZ.

After a bit of text chat, we find that she had the same experience as i did with the Immigration agent, finding her to be very rude.

I’ve gone ahead and managed to find a contact number for immigration via the airport, which was a headache as Immigration seem to really want to be uncontactable, i had to be somewhat rude to the airport operator to actually get them to transfer me, as they kept saying “Oh we can’t put you though , they don’t have a number “ … unbelievable.. because they did have a number…. obviously…

I spoke with a guy about the situation and he was polite but absolutely unhelpful, unwilling to make any sort of effort to assist (easy to tell by his accent he wasn’t kiwi born), often going back to the “we can’t discuss this unless we have permission from the person in question” who has given their permission already because immigration had already called me twice….

This is truly terrible that Immigration have yet again shown themselves as total uncaring assholes , nothing seems to change, and I truly feel sorry for any international traveler coming to NZ that has to deal with those idiots.

Well done New Zealand Immigration, yet again , you’ve proved your self to be a pack of mindless drones with no ability to think for yourself or help anyone… fucking well done.

(a backstory note)..

Just so you know that i’m not dealing with a one-off here.. I have experience with NZ Immigration and how they treat people, as I have a number of international friends, some who live/ work here, some who are students etc.. and I constantly hear horror stories about how they are treated by NZ Immigration, and i’ve even tried to help a couple of them and have experienced this first hand….   it’s a hard thing to do, to try and be there for someone who gets shafted by immigration and watch them as they see their life and what they have worked hard for (legally) get torn apart by an uncaring emotionally void asshole at immigration.

Rant end.
