Went for a semi-random drive today, there was a Gypsy fair on in one of the outlying towns, so went there.. Oh so lame… it’s on again in a few weeks in another city, will go to that one, hopfully it will be better…

here are a few pictures from the fair…

After that, I stopped at our old Earth Station Satellite Base. It’s hardly used anymore, which is a shame, and back in the day, there used to be a little show and stuff that you could go watch,.. a family sort of thing… shame how things have changed 😦

After that, a drive to a beach,

Got some pictures of a dirty sunset, I was messing about with the setting on the camera to see what they did.. so along the way I got these..

A random sneaker trying to sneak up a poll… and.. Kawakawa bay dairy, where I got the best fish and chips I have had in a long long time.

AH so all I wanted to do, was to be up early atop of Mt Eden lookout for some nice sunrise shots… and hey, I got a few lame ones….

But wait, that’s not all..

When I turned around, these people started showing up…. *confused look on face*

And then… out of the blue…

Sighs… well, this is it, Departure day today.

I’m keeping this really really short, as I have to check out in about an hour.

Thank you to all the wonderful people I have met, that stopped and talked to me, that didn’t arrest me for being weird, or call me totally strange when i put tomato sauce on everything i ate 🙂
