Leave a comment Yep, today marks day 7, the first week done, of a minimum 4 week lockdown.
There’s talk now that this might extend to 8 or more weeks, i’d not doubt it.
How am I managing… ? ….. Yea, dunno.
On the bright side, or, slightly less dim side, finally getting around to designing a new website for my photography with guidance from my dear friend Minh-Ly, who’s just too good at this sorta stuff… 🙂
Oh yea, don’t have to buy fuel for my truck i suppose.
Been watching some of my old Youtube videos … some of the little adventures i went on… —–>>>>> GO HERE <<<<<-—- to see some.. go on.. pay my poor site a visit.. lol. Gosh, it’s been like 2 years since I uploaded anything… makes sense though.. hasn’t been a good 2 years… apart from two bits.. but I already talked about that..
it’s almost 1:30am Thursday morning, 2nd April 2020……. I need a snack.

Oh god, really, there’s a minimum of 4 weeks to go ?
The government have put a 3 month financial package together for businesses to be able to continue to ‘pay’ their employees ….. 3 month package…
and we are in lockdown for…. 4 weeks.. at this stage…
don’t hold your breath for 4 weeks… this is just the beginning i assume.
I’m here alone.

Sadly the great George Duke passed away at age 67.. much much too young… one of the big influences in my musical life.. he will be greatly missed.

as death approaches me,
with its uneasy terms
its purely selfish and private timing…
i dwell upon the depths of my remorse
for those i have not helped
and those i have sinned against
arching backwards casting mesmeric visions
of what greatness’s i have amassed in my time
as the glass lay upon its side, empty, void of the reality
i had imagined it to contain
my life but a sliver of your remembered distance close by
stands the time keepers watch
ticking not unlike falling bricks
laid to create that perfect future
of what lacked though years of regressed hope
no one sees what is happening here
in this little space of contemplation
as death approaches me

disproportionate to requirements

Sadly on Saturday 17th Dec 2011, a very good friend passed away unexpectedly.
Paul Strange (yes that is his real name) was one hell of a good bloke. I’d known him both professionally and personally as a very good friend for nay over 18 years, and had always enjoyed hanging out, having BBQ’s, and generally enjoying life.
It’s strange how things seen so weird now, you’re not even going to show up for dinner next week…. stink… it was your shout too.
Anyways…
Don’t take your friends (or family) for granted, life walks away far to fast and memories don’t replace the soul.

This is the latest and last picture I have of Paul, from 12th of Nov 2011, we went up to Matakana and then Scotts Point/landing, where we chilled out for the evening enjoying the view and whatnot.
As Mr Strange would say… “PENIS”!!
