Facebook–we own your privacy
Best thing i ever did.. removing the new updated Facebook app from my phone. As much as I don’t mind SOME information being shared/collected by the likes of FB or Google, face books new permissions requirements for the app are totally unacceptable for me.
They now want to be able to control “without host permission” that means the FB app does stuff without asking you.. like reading/creating/sharing your personal calendar, Wi-Fi snooping, reading your text messages, sms, mms, etc., your location without permission, info about other apps you have installed and use, a wealth of personal information, phone calls, modifying accounts, and a whole stack of other stuff..
I wonder how many people actually stop to read the “new updates/permissions” blurb, instead of just automatically hitting the “accept” and letting it update, or even have it automatically update.
Companies like Facebook, Google, etc. are out there to data mine anything and everything they can about you.
Take responsibility for the privacy of you and your family.
Facebook’s attempt and ALMOST trying to justify why they want more from you..
