(w)Hole lot of building ?
I don’t really understand companies some times…
here is an example of a large construction company who had a rock quarry and decided to turn it into a little housing development… personally, I think one really good long hard rain will teach them a lession about building houses in deep holes.. you can see the housing in the distant middle-left.
A close-up of the housing..
Around my place
There’s an abandoned property near my place, and I thought I’d have me a look. No signs saying keep out, so I didn’t 🙂

General Overview
More overview…
An unusual stone trench.. maybe it was a water bypass ?, It’s quite long.. go on for ages, stone on either side, manmade, but for the life of me, I cant work out what it was for.
I wonder who used to sit here and contemplate….
A pipe…
Finally, in the end, all the paths we walk down, will eventually walk over us…
Oh, and I fell over and cut myself… sucks…. it hurteded. :) The things I do for fun eh 🙂
Old buildings in Devonport – Day Trips
I was driving around today, and found this old building… I thought it was interesting.. so there you go…
Here is another one, this is at the old navel lookout….I’m guessing during the war it might have been like a gun thing or something..?
Another gun thing ?
This is a view of the back end of Devonport, looking back towards Takapuna..
View of Auckland City (can you see the tower?) from Stanley Point..
I liked the lines on this…. also coming back from Stanley Point…

Another nice day in Auckland 🙂
It's getting cold, but the rain has stopped
and so another weekend passes us by. Not much happened, some shopping, some driving around trying to find things to do, even went to one of the Malls twice… I mean, twice.. how sad is that? lol.
Oh well, these are the cards we are delt in life.
One thing I will say, this mobile broadband thing I have isn’t as bad as I thought it was. I messed around for ages trying to find a good spot for it, and with the aid of a few 5m USB cables and a powered Hub, it’s working OK.
Hanging out for my ADSL connection though, a few more weeks away let. Then … well.. not much will change, I’ll be able to surf the net a little better (and a lot cheaper).
Mobile Broadband $90.00 for 3 Gigs.
OUCH
New Zealand sucks for Internet pricing and stuff.
We are at the mercy of the big telco’s who don’t give a moneys left nut.
