*sigh* …. I want one….
*runs outside and buys one*
*grin*
I GoT one NOW 🙂
I got it with a 18-200 Lens.
Sex on a Tripod 🙂
WOOHOO!!
Now, just have to learn to use it 🙂
Oh Internet, where art thou ? (or, what the hell?)
Ok, Let us understand the bases for this.
TELECOM NZ SUCK!
Now that we have established the result, here is the cause…
They only allowed me 3 Gigs… a MONTH.
Thats it. 3 GIG a Month.
Have to wait for the new month to roller over before I can use it again.
Sucks.
So, I’ll be without Internet for a few weeks now.
See you all in a few weeks.
YAY
Oh well, have to wait for my land-line based ADSL.
*mumbles about evil Telecom*
It's getting cold, but the rain has stopped
and so another weekend passes us by. Not much happened, some shopping, some driving around trying to find things to do, even went to one of the Malls twice… I mean, twice.. how sad is that? lol.
Oh well, these are the cards we are delt in life.
One thing I will say, this mobile broadband thing I have isn’t as bad as I thought it was. I messed around for ages trying to find a good spot for it, and with the aid of a few 5m USB cables and a powered Hub, it’s working OK.
Hanging out for my ADSL connection though, a few more weeks away let. Then … well.. not much will change, I’ll be able to surf the net a little better (and a lot cheaper).
Mobile Broadband $90.00 for 3 Gigs.
OUCH
New Zealand sucks for Internet pricing and stuff.
We are at the mercy of the big telco’s who don’t give a moneys left nut.
Internet…. ? Mobile Internet is a life (remnants of sanity) saver..
OK, I had to do it.
Moved into the new place today, cute, cosy, lonely.
Went and bought a “Mobile Broadband” USB device from Telecom.
I had a few choices, Telecom (the incumbent) Vodafone, TelstraClear etc … and I ended up with the one company I have hated since the year dot.
And do you want to know why ?
Well, I’m going to tell you!
They were the only ones who could offer me a “off the shelf” solution, right there and then, in the shop.
And admittedly, as much as I love Vodafone, Telecom coverage is just better.
Way way better.
But, I’m still keeping my cell phone with Vodafone, that, will never change.
Maybe.
